Commonly known as a 'Baby Nurses' in the United States, Newborn Specialist are not RN's (registered nurses), LPN'S (Licensed Practical Nurse), CNA's (Certified Nursing Assistants) they are however extensively trained  by ( RN's or LPN's ) and are an invaluable asset to new parents who provide unique expertise in all aspects of newborn care, prenatal education and support. Whether you need lactation advice, an expert in the care of multiples, or just an extra set of hands.

We are Newborn Specialists whose objective is to love,nurture and promote healthy growth for all babies in my care. We are trained, experienced, C.P.R certified, college educated, discreet individuals who come into your home to help recovering mothers just after childbirth and assist the mother for a few weeks after child(ren) is brought home.

Duties:

- Daily head-to-toe assessments of your baby(ies)
- Breastfeeding support
- Providing newborn care, including feeding (if bottle fed), bathing, circumcision & umbilical cord care
- Initiate a routine for sleeping, feeding, naptimes and playtimes
- Keeping a daily record of baby(ies) activities and responses
- Teaching parents soothing & massage techniques
- Maintain the nursery area including changing bedding, restocking baby's clothing, linens and supplies plus much more, including the training of nannies or any other caregivers.
